i’m an american artist and writer living in Spain, specifically Catalonia, specifically L'Albi, a beautiful little village of 700 y pico people in the region of Lleida. here in L’Albi, we’re renovating a house built in 1700, which means this house is older than my nation state of birth. that house has now become l’Artesania, “the craft,” a creative retreat center.
